Born and raised in Chicago, Alexandra started her life as a young performer by gracing the stage at age 9 in the Houston Grand Opera production of Porgy and Bess. This would lead to roles in various theatrical productions all over the city.

After leaving the entertainment industry for personal reasons. Alexandra focused on her education and performing in nightclubs across the country. Her vocal tributes to artists such as Billie Holliday, Eartha Kitt and Whitney Houston have garnered great acclaim.

Alexandra is a very active member of the GLBTQ+ community for which she has raised countless thousands dollars of charitable donations over the years. She also actively supports organizations that create space for queer youth. Alexandra is a staunch advocate for Transgender rights and also fights against HIV Stigma. By using music, art and theater, Alexandra has found ways to discuss the human condition and bring a brightness to otherwise difficult subject matter. “As a Black Transwoman living in today’s society, I strive to be seen in all of my humanity”.
